Monika Otcova, born on the 28th of October 1983 in Teplice, Czech Republic, has always been passionate about music and movement. As a small girl, she dedicated her free time to dancing with an amateur dance group and performed at local events. Later, she took interest in attending aerobics classes, particularly those combining dance and conditioning.

In 2004, she attended her first course to become an aerobics instructor and started teaching her first classes in her home town. Having started studies in Prague soon after, she got an opportunity to gain experience teaching in the capital city, and from there she was able to regularly attend events such as conventions and conferences in order to broaden her knowledge, experience and teaching skills.

In 2006 Monika left home to live and work in the Republic of Ireland where you can find her today. Based in Galway city, she works as a studio coordinator exclusively for the Kingfisher Group. She regularly attends courses in Dublin and abroad, learning the most up to date programs and teaching methodologies.

Her main objectives are to give attendees of her classes experience of an efficient but fun exercise to music workout of a world-class standard. She is continuously working on improvement and promotion of exercise to music classes in Ireland and is much involved with instructors and organizations nationwide.

You will see Monika teaching not only locally to public, but also to schools, summer schools, at conventions and events such as fitness days, marathons etc.
